My name is John Finklea and I have been working with my hands as long as I can remember. As a child I would follow my father to assist with home projects. I also used to work at my grandfather's warehouse in the summers. As I began to drive I learned to work on cars, my father in law taught me much of what I know today. As a owner of 5 homes and partial owner in another in my life, I have been involved in countless types of home repairs, improvements, and maintenance. We even did much of the work ourselves on a home we custom designed. I believe in honesty, integrity, and value. I feel I can offer you much needed assistance onn a variety of home needs at an affordable price. You can look over this website to see if we can meet your needs today. I am certified by the ACHP, hold liability insurance, offer a one year warranty on most work, and have a business license.

My nickname "Mr John" came from 2 groups of people. One are friends,, relatives,, and citizens of the lowcountry in South Carolina. The other group is manyy of the students I have taught over the years. I can understand. Mr John is much easier to say than Mr Finklea.

 

As you can see on the other page, we offer a variety of services. I want to help homeowners with the projects contracters don't have the time or patience for. I have done so many different home projects it is difficult to say what my specialty would be. I have probably installed ceiling fans and repaired toilets the most, maybe because those are usually frequent needs. I have also done a lot of work outdoors with yards and cleaning. Having owned several homes, I also have quite a bit of experience prepping a house to put it for sale on the market. If you need an extra hand getting ready, don't hesitate to call!
